Federal Government Scholarship Awards In Nigerian Universities, Colleges and Polytechnics is NOW OPEN for the 2010/2011 academics year
The 2010/2011 Federal Government Scholarship is open for application for undergraduate and postgraduate students to study in Nigeria Higher Institutions. Application forms are available for collection in all Federal and State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education for Federal Government Scholarship Awards In Nigerian.Federal Government Scholarship Awards In Nigerian,Scholarship applicants are advised to contact their institutions for collection and completion of the forms of the Federal Government Scholarship Awards In Nigerian.
Please, note that application forms are also available online at www.fsb.gov.ng and can be filled and printed by prospective candidates for endorsement by their HOD and Registrars of their institutions

ELIGIBILITY THE Federal Government Scholarship Awards In Nigerian:
(i) Undergraduate, HND & NCE Scholarship:
All applicants should be registered full-time students in their second year or above in recognized Federal and State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics and Colleges of Education. They should also obtain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 on a 5 point scale, or its equivalent in the previous academic year’s examinations.
(ii) Postgraduate scholarship:
Applicants must be registered full-time students of recognized Federal and State owned universities and must have a minimum of second class Honors (upper Division) in their 1st degrees.
Applicants in private higher education institutions in Nigeria are not eligible to apply for the federal government scholarship.

All qualified candidates who have fully completed the prescribed application forms for the Nigerian Awards scholarship are to attend selection interviews as scheduled below.
Application Requirements For Federal Government Scholarship Awards In Nigerian
(a) Duly completed application forms should be submitted at the various interview centres. Completed application forms should be accompanied with. Photocopies of:
(i) Letter of admission to the institution
(ii) Course Registration Form
(iii) Student Identity Card
(b) Two passport-size photographs with name fully written at the back

Interview Dates for the Federal Government Scholarship Awards In Nigerian:
Northern States: (North East, North West & North Central)14th-18th March, 2011
Southern States: (South East, South West, South South) 21st-25th March,2011
Interview Venue: Federal Unity School in State Capitals; where there is no Unity School in the State Capital, candidates should contact The Secretary, Scholarship Board in that State.
Note:
I. Application forms that are incorrectly/incompletely filled or without the necessary documents will not be processed.
II. All Application forms must be duly signed and stamped by the applicant’s HOD and Registrar.
III. Candidates are to attend interviews with writing materials such as pen, HB pencil and eraser.
IV. Interview starts by 8.00a.m daily
